August 2015 TBR

Hey everyone! Today I’m going to be doing my August TBR. I meant to do this yesterday, but I was so busy and I didn’t write this post in advance like I probably should have, so yeah. Anyway, I picked out four books that I want to read this month, but I’ll probably (hopefully) end up reading more. Let’s get started!

The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis

Okay, so I don’t really know if this counts as one book or three, but whatever. I have three more books in this series to read: The Silver Chair, The Horse and His Boy, and The Last Battle. I really want to finish this series.

The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater

I started this last month but didn’t get around to finishing it. I’m planning on finishing it this month, though. I’ve been enjoying it, but it was just a little too slow to captivate me, so I’m hoping it picks up.

Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo

This is one that I borrowed from my friend last month, so I should probably read it soon. Also, it sounds really interesting and I’ve heard such amazing things about this series, so I want to get into it. I know I’m late on this train, but whatever.

Landline by Rainbow Rowell

Since the rest of my TBR is fantasy, I thought it might be a good idea to try to read a contemporary book as well. I’ve read Fangirl and Eleanor and Park by Rowell, and I loved both of them, so I definitely want to read all of her works. I’m really excited to read this.

Unofficially on my TBR: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban & Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I wanted to reread this series this year, but I haven’t read any of them since January. So I definitely need to fix that.

Well, that was my August TBR! I hope that even with school (ughhhhh) I’ll be able to manage this. For the first two weeks, I only have one class, so I’ll hopefully have a lot of free time to read.
